Farhang was born in Tehran, Iran. He has lived abroad since he was fifteen years old. He attended the American school in Switzerland (TASIS) in Lugano. Upon graduation he moved to Heidelberg, Germany, where he attended Schiller International University (SIU). Farhang received both his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and later on his Masters in Business Administration in International Business Management from SIU. He moved to the United States in 1994, where he began his professional career in the hospitality and entertainment industry in Columbus, Ohio. During this time he also formed a successful real estate investment company. Farhang joined Midwestern Associates, LLC in July and has taken on the role of Public Relations and Human Resources.
